03. 19. Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of thinking and I've decided that it's time that I closed GOL for good. I want to apologize to everyone that put a lot into the site or that had a lot of ideas for its future, but it's just...it's not working. She's had 4 long years of hardwork put into her, by me and her members, but it's never been at the right time for really anyone- and I whole heartedly believe that it's because of me.

There's literally very little I can do to change myself or the situations that I'm in at this point in time, so to save you all anymore grief and to save myself the heartache I'm just going to retire the site.

I'll give you all time to gather your profiles or any other information you'd like to keep from the forums. Let me know if you need any help grabbing anything from archives or if you want me to put anything in a word doc for you to save- but that's...that. I'm going to be putting the site offline once you've all said your goodbyes and saved what you want to save, but then after that I plan on deleting it all. It may not be anytime soon, as I'm still incredibly attached to it all, hell I might not even be able to do it at all, but in the end the forums are going to be offline for everyone.

I'll still keep the Discord up in case any of you want to keep in touch or RP a bit there...but if not, feel free to leave that group too. I'm so sorry I had to go this route. I've treasured each and every moment I've shared with you wonderful writers and I'll never forget the characters you've made, the good and the bad.

Thank you all for being a part of the Guardians of Light story, it wouldn't have been the same without you.
